Touils is a rising Moroccan artist whose vibrant, uplifting paintings radiate joy, hope, and optimism. Born and raised in Morocco, his artistic journey has been shaped by resilience, transformation, and a deep connection to personal experience.
After a challenging childhood and a life-changing move to France at the age of 18, Touils turned to painting as a means of emotional expression and self-discovery. Entirely self-taught, he developed a distinctive visual language defined by luminous color, expressive brushwork, and an atmosphere of warmth and possibility. Inspired by the light, landscapes, and cultural spirit of his native Morocco, his work transforms adversity into beauty while exploring universal themes of love, peace, travel, and imagined escape.
Touils first gained international recognition with his solo exhibition True Colours, which marked his UK debut and introduced his work to a broader global audience. Among his notable works, Cherry Rain on the Fushimi River, a striking quadriptych inspired by Japan, exemplifies his ability to merge romance, color, and energy, transporting viewers into a world where emotion, light, and imagination come together.
