These four artists, with roots in the Caribbean, each with an established career of incredible trajectory with works that astound, will be on offer and on view at our Booth C6.

MEET THE ARTISTS
Johannes Boekhoudt (b. 1966, Willemstad, Curaçao) is a Dutch-Caribbean artist known for his powerful expressionist works and distinctive cross motif.
A self-taught painter, he draws influence from Jean-Michel Basquiat, Willem de Kooning, and Picasso, blending figurative and abstract elements.
His art explores themes of human rights, social justice, and resilience, addressing issues such as child abuse and political instability.
Johannes work has been exhibited in major museums across the Americas, including the African American Museum of Dallas and Museo de Arte Moderno in the Dominican Republic. Now based in Texas, he continues to create thought-provoking and socially engaged works.
Edouard Duval-Carrié (b. 1954, Port-au-Prince, Haiti) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of history, migration, and Caribbean identity.
Rooted in the visual and spiritual traditions of Haiti, his paintings, sculptures, and installations blend mythology with socio-political commentary.
After studying in Canada and France, he settled in Miami, where he became a key figure in contemporary Caribbean art. His work, exhibited globally, incorporates luminous resins, intricate iconography, and historical narratives to challenge colonial legacies and cultural memory.
Edouard’s art serves as a bridge between past and present, offering a visually compelling dialogue on identity, displacement, and resilience.
Omar Cruz (b. New York; raised in Puerto Rico) is a distinguished photographer celebrated for his evocative black-and-white imagery that captures the essence of his beautiful subjects.
Omar began experimenting with light and shadow early in his career, developing an intuitive vision that has become a hallmark of his work.
After studying photography in Manhattan, Omar returned to Puerto Rico, where his work with local magazines led to significant opportunities, including photographing Latin music icons like Ricky Martin and Juanes.
Now based in Miami, he focuses on personal projects, utilizing exquisite traditional techniques such as gelatin silver and platinum printing to create images that resonate with emotional depth and timeless beauty.
Julio Cesar Delgado (b. 1985, Havana, Cuba) is a visual artist known for his technical precision and emotionally rich compositions.
Trained at the Escuela de Instructores de Arte, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2008 before teaching and gaining recognition in Havana. Since relocating to Miami in 2012, Delgado has expanded his practice through public murals and international collaborations.
His work, exhibited across Cuba, Sweden, France, Venezuela, Mexico, and the U.S., reflects a deep engagement with storytelling, balance, and beauty.
Through meticulous detail and striking narratives, Julio Cesar invites you into a contemplative dialogue on memory, identity, and human connection.
